Mom - Season 2
Season two of Mom initially aired Thursdays in the United States at 8:30 p.m. after The Big Bang Theory, but it has aired in other time slots on the same night at various points of the season.
Season 2 of Mom was confirmed on March 13, 2014. Original episodes of this season aired from Thursday, October 30, 2014 to Thursday, April 30, 2015. The season was originally supposed to premiere on Monday, September 29, 2014, but CBS moved it to air "The Big Bang Theory" repeats.
I definitely think there will be romance in season three. I think the first two seasons, they were pulling their lives together. I think as they continue to grow, and get their lives together a little bit more, I think there will be more room for romance.
Catelynn got engaged to boyfriend Tyler at the end of last season. Remember, they gave their baby Carly up for adoption. Catelynn is still living with Tyler and his mom. Catelynn wants to become a nurse.
As Christy and Bonnie tried to improve their lives throughout the second season of Mom, they make progress, lose out on some things, and ultimately wind up closer than they started out. There are also plenty of times along the way that Allison Janney proves why she keeps winning awards for her performance by combining outlandish comedy with an underpinning of drama.
In the biggest arc of the whole season, Bonnie uses pain medication prescribed by a doctor, thus breaking her sobriety. While the other women of their AA group rally around Bonnie's recovery, Christy has a much harder time forgiving her mother. And while she almost moves away, abandoning Bonnie and starting a whole new life alone, of course they reconcile just before the season ends.
That should set up Season 3 of Mom, which will include the addition of Ellen Burstyn as Bonnie's mother. While its three-camera roots are evident in the humor and pacing, this show managed to work in a death, homelessness, and a drug relapse all in one season. Seriously, Mom is more than it appears.
Michelle Hurd steals the show in the episode, walking a fine line between a sincerity and trigger-happy ruthlessness. Her performance here cements my belief that Shepherd is the most formidable baddie this season.
Warning: spoilers ahead for Episode 5! There were a lot questions that needed to be answered after Season 1 of Stranger Things, but the one that created the most theories was what happened to Eleven's mom on Stranger Things. Now, the second season has finally given fans the answers they craved and seemed to confirm at long last that Eleven's real name is Jane, thereby making her mom Terry Ives, as many viewers have guessed.
We're heading into the home stretch of this season, with only two episodes left. They've now done three 45-ish-minute episodes in a row. It does give a little bit of an impression that there might be a little more story to get to than they're going to be able to wrap up. The way I count, at the very least, these things probably need attention in the last two episodes: Ted, Sharon (maybe Sharon's own life?), Rebecca and Sam, whatever Rupert is doing with Nate (and Nate in general), and now this thing with Jamie and Keeley and Roy? And maybe Beard and Jane? Or not? Oh, and there's also a football team with a season to finish.
It's not unusual for densely packed seasons full of stories to look a little like they're careening toward the finish line a little too fast and not entirely in control, and when that happens, they often bring it home just fine.
The last six seasons have been about Christy and Bonnie forging a bond and healing their relationship. They've done that very well over the last six seasons, but now that Bonnie is married things have changed.
In an Instagram Reel shared Thursday, the Teen Mom 2 alum and her husband tearfully reacted to the announcement that their HGTV series Down Home Fab has been renewed for a second season, three episodes into the show's first season, which premiered on Jan. 16. 041b061a72
