Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol 2.4 For Mac ^HOT^ Free Download

So I am having an issue with komplete kontrol and abletons transport functions. I have installed and reinstalled a few times each time following the instructions precisely and all I get when i press any of the transport buttons on the keyboard is a midi note. I was wondering if you could offer any advice for troubleshooting?
